Callisia Pink Lady is a wonderfully easy houseplant. Plant it in a pot, hanging basket, or terrarium and place on a sunny windowsill. Windows on the Southern facing wall will give the most amount of light for this plant. Callisia Pink Lady has stems full of small round waxy leaves that vary in colors from green striped, pinkish, and cream with a burgundy underside of the leaf. Pinch the growing tips regularly to create a more full, compact shaped plant. Pink Lady will sometimes display small white flowers in the summer months. The more sun this plant gets the more pink the foliage looks. Callisia Pink Lady is semi-succulent so let dry down between waterings.
